Get With the Program is an initiative from Code Savvy designed to develop coding awareness, skills and resources among K-12 and after-school educators through hands-on workshops, conferences and mentoring.
Our focus is to provide opportunities for educators to explore coding as well as practical ideas on how to integrate computer science into school curricula and out-of-school educational programs. Get With the Program offers professional development both for classroom teachers and for community educators. Please contact us at educators@CodeSavvy.org if you would like to arrange custom training. Current sponsored events include:
- Scratch Camp for Educators, held every summer. Registration is now open for 2018 Scratch Camp!
- MN Coding in the Classroom Leadership Cohort, a group of K-12 teachers who meet monthly to explore, collaborate and share information about computer science education and develop resources for integrating computer science into MN classrooms and other learning environments
- MN Coding in the Classroom Summit, held each year in May.
